Mike Mazelis Jr.’s 1970 Dodge Coronet — done my way!
It came with 13 boxes of parts next to the car. The car is originally a Coronet 440 model. The previous owner was going to make it a bracket race car, so it was painted sublime green and made into more of a Super bee tribute car.
I purchased the car in 2008 and it took me every day of two years to put it together and get it on the road. I am always changing the appearance with different wheels, hoods, grilles, tail panel, interior components, making upgrades, etc.
The car currently has a 512 CUI engine and Tremec TKO 600 5-speed transmission and 4.10 rear end gear. It cruises the highway at 80mph at 2500 rpms all day long.
This coronet was built to be driven and has been on several out of state trips, the longest being 11 hours to Wisconsin. A definite head turner on the street.
