Car Overview
This 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is #300 of approximately 3,300 examples built for the model year, and it now has 15 miles. The car is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi High-Output V8 producing up to 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels via a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Finished in Sublime Green over Demonic Red Laguna leather, the car was optioned without rear seats, and is equipped with Air-Catcher HID headlights, an Air-Grabber hood, a front splitter, an SRT Performance rear spoiler, flared quarter panels, a āLast Callā underhood plaque, four-piston Brembo brake calipers, Lacks Enterprises 18ā³ front and 17ā³ rear carbon-fiber wheels, Satin Black graphics, heated and ventilated front seats, a Harman Kardon sound system, and UConnect infotainment with navigation. Initially delivered to Kufleitner Dodge, this SRT Demon 170 has 15 miles and is now offered on dealer consignment in Illinois with a window sticker, manufacturerās literature, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title.
Dodge released seven different Last Call special editions for the 2023 model year to celebrate the end of production of the Charger and Challenger, and the Demon 170 was the final special edition variant. This example is finished in Sublime Green (PFB) and features an Air-Grabber hood with āAlcohol Injectedā lettering on the hood-scoop bezel. Other exterior details include a front splitter that has retained its yellow scuff guards, Air-Catcher HID headlights, flared rear quarter panels, satin black roof and rear decklid graphics, dual exhaust outlets, and an SRT Performance rear spoiler with an integrated rearview camera.
Optional $11,495 Lacks Enterprises 18ā³ front and 17ā³ rear carbon-fiber wheels are mounted with Mickey Thompson tires. Stopping power is provided by black four-piston Brembo calipers with yellow SRT lettering over ventilated discs. The Demon 170 is equipped with an edition-specific Drag Mode suspension with adaptive-damping shocks as well as launch control, a line lock, and a revised transbrake.
The heated and ventilated seats are upholstered in Demonic Red Laguna leather with matching seat belts. Carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard and center console, and the optional Premium Group adds a suede headliner, a premium-stitched dash panel, a blind-spot monitoring system, rear cross-path detection, and an 18-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with a trunk-mounted subwoofer. Other amenities include remote start and UConnect infotainment with navigation and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability. Demon 170 models left the factory with a reduced amount of sound-deadening materials compared to the standard Challenger, and the car was optioned without rear seats. A plaque below the passenger air vent identifies this Demon 170 as #300.
Shift paddles are affixed to the rear of the Alcantara-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, which frames a red 220-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a 7ā³ configurable digital display. The digital odometer indicates 15 miles.
The 6.2-liter Hemi High-Output V8 is equipped with a 3.0-liter supercharger with a 3.02ā³ pulley and a 105mm throttle body in addition to revised fueling system components, Nitride-coated intake valves, copper-lead bearings, and upgraded cylinder head studs when compared to the previous Demon model. The horsepower rating adjusts automatically based on the ethanol percentage in the fuel, and output ranges from 900 horsepower and 810 lb-ft of torque with conventional E10 fuel to 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque when using E85. The engine is also equipped with an SRT Power Chiller, which utilizes the air conditioning refrigerant to cool the air entering the intake ports.
A āLast Callā plaque is affixed under the hood near the driver-side headlight.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and a 3.09:1 limited-slip differential with a strengthened housing and a 240mm ring gear. The Demon 170 also features an improved rear prop shaft and 43-spline rear half shafts.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Kufleitner Dodge and lists factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $136,931.
