The 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas once again brought together the best of the automotive performance aftermarket, packed with creative builds, cutting-edge parts, and show-stopping vehicles that celebrate both heritage and innovation. From classic muscle to modern trail rigs, this year’s event delivered something for every gearhead and customization fan.
Mopar Builds Steal the Spotlight
Mopar®-related vehicles were among the most photographed and talked-about rides on the show floor, with standout builds featured throughout the exhibit halls. The Mopar / Direct Connection display in the Lower South Hall was a must-see destination for attendees, showcasing some of the most creative and powerful executions of Mopar performance and style.
Highlights included:
- Chip Foose HEMI® DeSoto – A stunning fusion of vintage elegance and modern power, this refreshed 1955 DeSoto Fireflite blends classic design with a Gen III SRT® HEMI engine and custom suspension work straight from Chip Foose’s shop.
- Classic ’Cudas – A 1970 ’Cuda hardtop equipped with a modern SRT 6.4L Gen III HEMI and a vibrant 1971 ’Cuda 340 convertible in High Impact color reminded fans why E-bodies remain icons of muscle history.
- Road Runner Builds – From Pure Vision Design’s ’70 Plymouth Road Runner “Haraka” with a big-block Mopar wedge engine to a custom 1968 Road Runner Coupe in Ransberry Pearl finish, these classics blended creativity with fierce performance upgrades.
Power Wagons and 4×4 Legends
The show’s celebration of rugged capability wasn’t limited to low-slung muscle cars. A strong lineup of Dodge Power Wagons illustrated the continuing appeal of classic rigs re-imagined for modern use. Notable entries included a radical, wide-body 1949 Power Wagon built on a modern Ram 2500 chassis with a Cummins diesel and a 1946 “Desert Power Wagon” boasting a turbo diesel and off-road suspension that proves these vintage workhorses still have serious capability.
SEMA also featured a diverse mix of Jeep® vehicles and other 4×4 builds, from adventure-ready rigs to trail-honed classics, reflecting the enduring popularity of off-road culture.
More Than Cars — Culture and Creativity
Beyond the vehicles themselves, SEMA 2025 delivered immersive experiences that bridged automotive enthusiasm with broader interests:
- The SEMA Art Walk highlighted automotive-themed art, including original pieces celebrating HEMI dragsters and vintage racing legends.
- The NHRA booth in Central Hall showcased collectible models and memorabilia, blending drag racing history with fan engagement.
- SEMAFEST 2025 brought music and motors together, featuring live performances from major acts and creating a festival atmosphere that underscored the show’s cultural reach beyond horsepower alone.
Looking Ahead to 2026
With more exciting vehicles and even bigger exhibits already in the works, plans are underway for SEMA 2026 — scheduled for November 3–6, 2026 — promising even more innovation, creativity, and automotive passion at the world’s premier performance aftermarket event.
