The idea of ā€œimageā€ for the street may have been at its pinnacle with the 1971 Hemi Cuda. The car offered incredible power, aggressive trim, and thanks to only 59 Hemi Cuda hardtops being produced with the 4-speed manual transmission in 1971, serious rarity today.

This car, whose odometer currently reads under 13,100 miles, has been given a professional level restoration featuring the extensive use of NOS parts and is documented by an Elite-level Dave Wise inspection report. Still sporting its original body and engine, it is also coded V6X, meaning it left the assembly line as a real factory billboard car. The 426 Hemi V-8, rated at 425 HP, hosts the black-bubble Shaker hood covering its dual 4-barrel carburetors, dual exhaust and matching-numbers block. This is backed by the A833 New Process 4-speed manual transmission and a 3.54 SureGrip Dana 60 differential as per its coded A33 Track Pak, which also meant Hemi suspension parts and max cooling equipment. Code B51 power brakes are here as well.

Painted in correct FE5 Rallye Red, in addition to its Shaker hood with tie-down pins, this car features upgraded elastomeric bumpers in both front and rear. Coded H6X9 on the fender tag, there are front bucket seats, the legendary Hurst Pistol Grip floor shifter, R11 AM radio with optional R31 rear speakers and driver’s side remote mirror. Outside, the 1971 trim is unmistakable from any other Detroit release. The cheese-grater grille, road lamps and front fender ā€œgillsā€ highlight the nose, and there are G36 dual color-keyed sport mirrors, lower rocker moldings and the HEMI billboards at center, while the rear hosts chrome exhaust tips and a day-two factory Go Wing rear spoiler. The final touch here is a set of Rallye wheels with full trim and a set of premium Goodyear Polyglas GT tires. The era of the Hemi E-body would conclude with this model after a mere two years of production. If you like the look its ownership offers you, this Rallye Red factory billboard Hemi Cuda gives you the opportunity to still join the Rapid Transit System.
