Stellantis has reported strong momentum to begin 2026, announcing estimated consolidated shipments of 1.4 million units during the first quarter of the year. The company recorded a 12 percent increase compared to the same period in 2025, with growth occurring across every major global region.
According to Stellantis, the strongest performance came from North America and Enlarged Europe. North America shipments increased by approximately 17 percent year over year, while Europe posted a 12 percent gain. The results reflect improving inventory levels, stronger retail demand, and the continued rollout of new vehicle models across several brands.
Several key vehicles helped drive growth in North America. Stellantis highlighted the Ram 1500 HEMI V8, refreshed Jeep Grand Wagoneer, and the all new Jeep Cherokee as major contributors to the companyās shipment increase during the quarter. These vehicles accounted for a significant portion of the regionās year over year gains.
In Europe, Stellantis benefited from the success of its Smart Car platform vehicles, including the Citroƫn C3, Citroƫn C3 Aircross, Opel Frontera, and Fiat Grande Panda. The company reported that shipments for these models increased dramatically compared to last year as demand for compact and affordable vehicles continued to grow.
The company also saw positive growth in South America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific markets. Brazil remained an important contributor in South America, while Türkiye and Algeria helped support growth in the Middle East and Africa region.
Industry analysts continue to closely watch Stellantis as the company moves through a major transformation period focused on electrification, hybrid technology, and expanded global partnerships. Recently, Stellantis unveiled a long term strategy that includes major investments, new product launches, and plans for 60 new models by 2030.
For Mopar enthusiasts and performance vehicle fans, the latest shipment numbers are another sign that Stellantis brands like Dodge, Ram, Jeep, and Chrysler continue to play a major role in the companyās worldwide growth strategy. Strong truck and SUV demand in North America remains especially important as Stellantis continues balancing performance heritage with future technology development.
