Stellantis Pro One Launches Campaign Offering Electric Vans at the Same Price as Diesel
The push toward electrification in the commercial vehicle world just took a big step forward. Stellantis has launched a new European campaign through its commercial vehicle division, Stellantis Pro One, designed to make electric work vans far more accessible for businesses.
The initiative offers battery electric versions of several popular commercial vans at the same price as their diesel counterparts. The goal is simple. Remove one of the biggest barriers preventing many companies from switching to electric vehicles, the higher upfront purchase price.
This Europe wide campaign is available until the end of June 2026 and focuses on helping professional customers transition to electric mobility without sacrificing capability or practicality.
Electric Vans Without the Price Premium
One of the most common reasons businesses hesitate to adopt electric commercial vehicles is cost. Electric models often carry a higher purchase price compared to diesel powered vans.
With this campaign, Stellantis Pro One is removing that difference. Companies can choose battery electric versions of several compact and midsize vans while paying the same price they would for a traditional diesel model.
The offer covers a wide range of vehicles from multiple Stellantis brands including
- Citroƫn Berlingo
- Fiat Doblò
- Opel Combo
- Peugeot Partner
The campaign also includes midsize vans such as
- Citroƫn Jumpy
- Fiat Scudo
- Opel Vivaro
- Peugeot Expert
These vehicles are widely used across Europe by tradespeople, delivery services, and fleet operators who rely on dependable work vans every day.
Built for Real Work
Switching to electric does not mean sacrificing capability. The electric versions in this campaign still deliver the same practicality businesses expect from diesel models.
Payload capacities range from roughly 800 kilograms up to 1.5 tons depending on the model and configuration. Electric driving range can reach up to around 340 kilometers for compact vans and about 350 kilometers for midsize vans on a full charge.
For many businesses operating in cities or regional routes, that range is more than enough for daily operations.
Helping Businesses Transition to Electric
Stellantis Pro One was created as the companyās dedicated business unit for light commercial vehicles. It combines expertise from brands such as CitroĆ«n, Fiat Professional, Opel, Peugeot, Ram, and Vauxhall to serve professional customers around the world.
The division also focuses heavily on zero emission technologies, connected services, and custom vehicle solutions designed for different industries. With more than 20,000 sales and service points globally, it plays a major role in Stellantisā commercial vehicle strategy.
Eric Laforge, Global Senior Vice President of Stellantis Pro One, explained that the campaign is meant to support companies at every stage of their electrification journey. By offering electric vans at the same price as diesel models, the company hopes to make electric mobility a practical choice for many more professional customers.
A Big Step Toward Commercial Vehicle Electrification
Commercial vans are essential to industries like logistics, construction, service trades, and last mile delivery. Because these vehicles spend so much time on the road, electrifying them can have a major impact on emissions and operating costs.
With this new pricing strategy, Stellantis is trying to accelerate adoption by eliminating the cost barrier that often slows the transition. If successful, the campaign could encourage more businesses to explore electric fleets while maintaining the reliability and capability they need to get the job done.
For many European companies, the decision to go electric may now be easier than ever.
