Alfa Romeo Reports Strong Global Growth in 2025 and Hits Key Milestones

Alfa Romeo has announced impressive global sales results for 2025, with registrations rising by more than twenty percent compared with the previous year. The Italian brand recorded over 73,000 units sold worldwide, underscoring its expanding appeal in multiple regions and reflecting strategic efforts to strengthen its product lineup and market presence.

Europe was the main engine of Alfa Romeo’s expansion in 2025, posting a more than thirty percent increase in registrations compared with 2024. Several key markets contributed significantly to this uptrend. The United Kingdom led with an exceptional eighty percent growth rate, followed by strong performance in France, Italy, Germany and Spain. In Italy, Alfa Romeo also achieved the largest gain in market share among premium brands.

Growth extended beyond Europe, with notable increases across the Middle East and Africa and in Asia. In Morocco the brand’s registrations climbed sharply while in Japan Alfa Romeo’s presence grew by over seventy percent. Alfa Romeo also relaunched operations in markets such as Taiwan and Malaysia in 2025, helping broaden its global footprint.

The momentum was driven in part by the success of new and existing models. The Junior compact SUV has proven particularly popular, with more than 60,000 orders placed since its launch and strong demand across more than 40 markets. The Junior has captured attention in both traditional gasoline and electrified versions, helping Alfa Romeo attract a wider range of customers.

Another significant contributor was the Tonale, which ranked as Alfa Romeo’s second most popular model in terms of global volumes. Its refreshed design and expanded availability set the stage for a full year in showrooms in 2026. Meanwhile, long-time favorites like the Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV continued to deliver solid demand. Both models are set to remain in the brand’s lineup through 2027 and have maintained strong appeal, especially among buyers seeking a blend of Italian style and engaging driving dynamics.

Limited-edition and performance-oriented versions of Giulia and Stelvio have also resonated with enthusiasts, with special Quadrifoglio variants achieving their highest mix of total sales since launch. Another halo model, the handcrafted 33 Stradale, continued to captivate collectors with deliveries progressing according to plan.

Santo Ficili, CEO of Alfa Romeo, highlighted that the strong sales growth reflects the brand’s momentum and its commitment to customer-focused product strategies. He emphasized that building desirability, loyalty and sustainable value for drivers are central to Alfa Romeo’s long-term goals, even as the company continues to evolve.

With growth across Europe and beyond, rising demand for new models and an expanding global presence, Alfa Romeo’s performance in 2025 signals a renewed chapter for the storied Italian brand. Enthusiasts and customers alike will be watching closely as Alfa Romeo builds on this foundation into 2026 and beyond.
